Client doesn't know Ltd Co UTR?

Came across this today, so thought it worth a heads up.

Needed to phone HMRC this morning to get UTR for new Ltd Co. Young lady on the helpline that it had been sent out on 10th October but they would send again.

She then informed me of an online service that will do this for you if it's a Ltd Co.

https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/ask-for-copy-of-your-corporation-tax-utr/enter-company-details

Great, and saves 20 minutes on phone waiting to get through.

Is the picture in your avatar your house?

He, he no, it's Ripon Town Hall. I noticed you had changed your avatar to a remembrance theme so followed suit. Ripon is currently adorned with poppies, many hand knitted over the summer in commemoration of the ending of WW1. Here's the picture a little bit bigger

Hi John

And a very pretty Town Hall it is too, although I much preferred the idea that it was your house (or maybe the gamekeepers cottage at the end of your drive)biggrin

If it's any consolation, my office is 3 doors down to the right, albeit at the back of the building and access is at the rear, not from the Market Place.

Hope that people driving Deloreans into the town hall at 88 mph does't disturb your work too much John!

he he yes I hadn't thought of that. Closest I've got was a couple of years ago when there was an almighty clap of thunder and I genuinely thought a bomb had gone off in the Market Square. It must have been just above the building and knocked my router out.
