RE: Domain name BookkeepingAgency.com is FOR SALE.

Why was the domain so successful that you're selling? Although a domain is a licence of sorts, correct - so you can't really buy? Nor sell, but transfer.

Good luck with getting $12.5k for it, I can't really anyone paying even a tenth of that

Here's a link to what the page looked like in 2015, and there has been no further development since then https://web.archive.org/web/20111121140549/http://www.bookkeepingagency.com:80/

So sorry Michael, I'm out.

Wow! Seriously? I doubt I'd pay 12.5k for KPMG - especially if they were selling. Surely using the domain of another is about as risky as taking over a VAT number. Reputation is everything.

It depends on the popularity of the site in question. eg I was a big fan of Firefox, and would install it on any computer I was cleaning up or re-installing. However the firefox . com domain didn't belong to them, as it was used by a different company in America. It would appear that at some point Firefox have bought the domain, and probably cost them a considerable amount of money.

I'll give you 50 British pence for it.

Oh, go on then. 50 British pence and a packet of cheese and onion crisps - but you'll have to pay the shipping fees for the crisps.

Note: The 'best before' date on the crisps is 23rd September, so I'd suggest this offer is time limited until a couple of weeks before that.

Actually, I've just decided to eat the crisps, so I hereby withdraw my offer.

But the 50p is still on the table surely!.... Actually, crisps cost around 50p don't they and one packet is never enough so I see where you are coming from on stepping out of the negotiations (and down the shop with 50p gripped firmly in hand).

I don't think that we will hear from the original poster again... Actually, better just pop into their posts and remove the links as well.

I can change the main title but not the title in each of the replies.

Well, I simply assumed that someone would come along with a better offer than just 50p - they didn't have to go as far as that and a packet of crisps now that I've eaten them; perhaps 50p and a tea bag, or something.

Joanne:

"50p a pack - lordy!"

Depends on the crisps, of course - some are cheaper than that, and some are much pricier!

"Buy a multipack when you have saved up in the old piggybank!"

I do tend to buy multipacks - or even (as in this case) boxes. This particular packet was a mere 25g packet, from a box of 48. I can't remember what I paid, but it probably worked out at no more than 20p/packet. 25g is just the right size for my favourite childish snack - a crisp sandwich.

Lol. Should I remove my link, or leave it up so people can see how crap the website was?
